Right of Withdrawal

In short: you may return a ready-made painting within 14 days of receiving it — no reasons needed. Works painted to your specification (commissions, paintings from photo) are excluded by law. The German Widerrufsbelehrung is authoritative.

Withdrawal policy

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party named by you (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us — [full legal name], [street, postcode] Delmenhorst, Germany, e-mail studio@marlet.com.ua — of your decision by an unambiguous statement (for example a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (with the exception of supplementary costs where you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not incur any fees for the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.

You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Please use packaging equivalent to the original — we are happy to advise on safe packing. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the work.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (§ 312g (2) No. 1 BGB). This covers commissioned paintings and the “painting from photo” packages.
