Are all works originals?

Yes. Every painting in the catalogue is a unique original — one of one, painted by hand and signed. Nothing is printed or reproduced. Hand-painted postcards and minis are also individually painted; no two are identical.

What is the Certificate of Authenticity?

Every original ships with a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by Kate. It records the title, year, dimensions, materials and a unique reference number kept on file at the studio — useful for insurance and resale.

How do I care for my painting?

Hang away from direct sunlight, radiators and humid rooms (bathrooms). Dust gently with a dry, soft brush — never use water or cleaning products on the painted surface. Works on paper should be framed behind glass with an acid-free mat. Oil paintings continue to cure for months; avoid touching the surface in the first year.

Do paintings come framed?

Canvases and panels arrive unframed with painted gallery edges — ready to hang as they are, wired on the back. Works on paper are sold unframed and ship flat in a museum-grade folio. If you would like a framing recommendation, just ask.

How do commissions work?

Two ways: fixed-price “painting from photo” packages — order online, then send your photo by e-mail — or free-form commissions, which start with the enquiry form and are quoted individually (lead time typically 3–5 months). Note that personalised works are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.

Can I visit the studio?

Yes — collectors are welcome by appointment at the Delmenhorst studio. Visits take 45–90 minutes. Write to studio@marlet.com.ua.

How can I pay?

Checkout is processed by Stripe on a secure payment page: major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna. We never see your card details.

What if the painting doesn't work in my home?

Live with it first — most works settle in after a few days. If it still isn't right, you can return ready-made works within 14 days: Right of Withdrawal.
